The RIN Locator tool enables users to search for an authorized cylinder requalifier. By inputting a city/state or zip code, the tool generates a detailed list of approved cylinder requalifiers, featuring addresses, contact details, as well as the sanctioned testing methods and cylinder specifications. The online version of this tool is available at https://portal.phmsa.dot.gov/rinlocator.

To be eligible for inspecting, testing, certifying, repairing, or rebuilding a cylinder in compliance with a DOT specification or a UN pressure receptacle under 49 CFR Sections 107.805, 180.211, and 180.212 is mandatory. This requirement extends to subpart C of part 178 or subpart C of part 180, or under the terms of a special permit issued under this part.
